Partnerships
Better transport outcomes happen when we plan them together.
NEMT Kenya works alongside the people and organisations already caring for our clients — so a ride is arranged before it’s needed, not scrambled for after. Here’s what we bring to each partner.
Who we partner with
Clinics, doctors, specialists & hospitals
A referral partner for getting patients safely to appointments, therapy, dialysis or discharge — so missed transport never becomes a missed treatment.
Caregivers & home nursing
Reliable transport that extends your home-based care beyond the front door — to appointments, therapy and back.
Insurance companies
A licensed, accountable transport provider your policyholders can be referred to, with clear per-trip invoicing.
Corporate companies
An employee wellness benefit that gets staff and dependents with mobility needs safely to and from care.
Communities & senior welfare groups
Scheduled, affordable transport that keeps your seniors connected to appointments, worship and each other.
People in the diaspora
Arrange and pay for a parent or relative’s transport in Kenya from wherever you are, with confirmation you can trust.
Medical travel agencies
Airport-to-hospital-to-hotel transfers for inbound patients, wheelchair- and stretcher-ready from the moment they land.
Investors
A licensed, asset-backed transport business in an underserved market — open to conversations about growth capital.
Government
A compliant NEMT partner ready to support public health transport, disability and elder-welfare programmes.
Sponsors & donors
Fund subsidised, wheelchair-accessible rides for elderly, disabled and chronically ill clients — see how it works.
Ride sponsorship
Sponsor a ride. We’ll match it.
15% of the world’s population lives with some form of disability (WHO) — and among Nairobi & Mombasa’s urban residents, elderly people, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and the caregivers of patients with chronic ailments are among the least served by ordinary transport.
In the course of our work, we have encountered families facing significant difficulties in transporting persons with disabilities, children, seniors and patients to hospitals, rehabilitation and physiotherapy centres, specialist appointments and other essential healthcare services. The limited availability of suitable and affordable transportation can result in missed appointments, delayed care and an increased burden on families and caregivers, particularly women.
In response to this need, NEMT Kenya has developed this Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) service, providing safe, reliable and accessible transportation for individuals who require assistance travelling to and from healthcare services but do not require emergency ambulance care. Our accessible vehicles and trained drivers are equipped to support passengers with diverse mobility needs.
We’re inviting partners to sponsor these subsidised, wheelchair-accessible rides, billed transparently at USD 2.00 per kilometre — and every donation is matched: NEMT contributes the vehicle and a trained driver-attendant at no cost to your fund, so your donation pays for the trip, not our fleet or payroll.
Use cases we cover
Beneficiary targeting can be tailored to your programme’s own focus — women, children, youth, or maternal health for PWDs, among others.
How to get involved: fund a single use case, set up a corporate sponsorship account, or back the general ride pool — we’ll pair your budget with real beneficiaries and report back monthly.
Sponsor recognition & benefits
Every level ties directly to the $2.00/km rate above, so what you fund is always traceable to real distance travelled. Reporting depth grows with your contribution; any beneficiary connection stays optional and consent-based at every level, never a condition of the tier.
| Level | Funds | Recognition & engagement |
|---|---|---|
| $300 Starter | 150 km | Monthly WhatsApp update with an aggregate summary of the rides your contribution funded. |
| $1,000 Sustaining | 500 km | Above, plus a quarterly written impact report — rides, kilometres and beneficiaries served — you can share with your own board or stakeholders. |
| $5,000 Champion | 2,500 km | Above, plus the option of a consent-based beneficiary story or testimonial for your own reporting — opt-in on both sides, never required. |
| $10,000 Partner | 5,000 km | Above, plus a say in which use cases and routes your funding prioritises, and a named ride fund (e.g. “[Your organisation] Ride Fund”). |
| $20,000 Programme Partner | 10,000 km | Above, plus vehicle branding on a vehicle serving your funded route (subject to TRA/NTSA livery approval), and an annual site visit. |
| $50,000 Strategic Partner | 25,000 km | Above, plus co-branded annual reporting and a seat in our programme-planning conversations for the year ahead. |
Compliance & safeguarding: any beneficiary story, testimonial or media use requires informed consent from the beneficiary — with extra safeguards for minors and vulnerable persons — in line with Kenya’s Data Protection Act (2019), and is never a condition of a funding tier. Vehicle branding is subject to TRA/NTSA livery approval.
Referral & delivery flow
A referral-driven delivery model, priced simply and verified independently.
Partner funds the ride pool, NEMT matches it
Your sponsorship sets up a dedicated ride fund; NEMT matches every ride with a vehicle and driver-attendant from our own fleet and payroll, at no cost to the fund.
Beneficiaries are identified
Via referral partners, communities and support groups we work with, or matched to your programme’s own focus.
Needs & use case confirmed
We confirm accessibility needs and use case (NEMT, R&R, work, study, VFR, etc.) and schedule the ride.
Ride delivered & billed
Delivered and billed transparently at $2/km — every trip logged via in-vehicle GPS trackers, with fuel usage audited through fleet fuel cards.
Corporate billing
Consolidated monthly invoicing against the sponsorship fund.
GPS & fuel-card verified
Trip distances confirmed via vehicle GPS trackers; fuel usage audited through fleet fuel cards — an auditable trail behind every kilometre billed.
Usage reporting
Rides delivered, kilometres covered, beneficiaries served, and the value of NEMT’s matched vehicles & staff time — reported monthly.
